What started as a simple DJ gig at the Rock-A-Bye Café in Pittsburgh’s South Hills evolved into a movement—where local bands gathered, shared their music, and shaped the sound of a city. Even after the venue changed, the Metal Shop 101 banner still flies high, now on the airwaves of Radio X, bringing unsigned and independent bands the exposure they deserve.
